In January, Ikeda lab members attended a small academic conference held in Miyazaki. All of them learned a lot about what other research groups are doing but also learned what companies are currently researching. The students also enjoyed a beautiful excursion around the city of Miyazaki, visiting temples, beaches, and castles.（Michael）
1月、池田ラボのメンバー７名が宮崎で行われた「集え、多分野研究者！」感染症キャンプ in 宮崎に参加しました。他の研究者がどのようなことを行っているか知るだけでなく、企業がどのような研究をしているかについても学ぶことができました。私たち学生は２日目に行われたエクスカーションにも参加し、お寺やビーチ、お城など素晴らしい宮崎の観光地を訪問しました。（Michael）
