11月28日から30日まで新宿区・京王プラザホテルで開催された第38回日本エイズ学会学術集会に参加しました。エイズ学会は今回が初めての参加でしたが、これまで参加した学会とは異なり、基礎研究のみでなく臨床分野、社会分野といった普段は触れることがないテーマについて知ることができました。また、HIV感染者やLGBTQ当事者のお話も聞くことができ、研究にとどまらず視野が広がったと思います。

I joined the 38th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for AIDS Research. This is my first time to attend this meeting and I learned about not only basic research but also clinical and social disciplines. I also listened to speeches of HIV carriers and LGBTQ people and I can widen my vision by them.
