The 2nd Coronavirus Meeting was held in Tokyo from August 2nd to August 4th. I presented our work at the conference entitled “Virological characteristics correlating with SARS-CoV-2 spike protein fusogenicity”. Many great researchers in the field of coronaviruses attended the conference including huge biopharmaceutical companies that manufactured the COVID-19 vaccine, Moderna and Pfizer. They shared their progress particularly on future projects that they are currently doing. It was a wonderful experience as I get more exposure in academia and the industry. (Michael)
