Welcome our first intern student in 2024, Fahim from Bangladesh. In this two-week internship, he toured our facilities, observed our experiments, and had some discussions with our professors and students. We hope he gains some perspective on virus research and enjoys his leisure time in Kumamoto. We also hope that he will further look into virus research at Ikeda Lab in the future.（Sharee）
