We were delighted to attend the Young Researchers Meeting held on February 12, 2026, at the Kagoshima Campus. The event provided an excellent opportunity to engage with students and colleagues from both campuses and to learn from a series of outstanding and insightful presentations covering diverse aspects of COVID-19 research, HTLV-1 biology, and translational applications. The scientific discussions were stimulating and inspiring, fostering meaningful exchanges across disciplines. In addition, the tour of the Human Retrovirus Research Center at the Kagoshima Campus offered valuable insight into the research environment and facilities, further strengthening mutual understanding. We truly benefited from this experience and look forward to future opportunities to continue exchanging ideas and developing collaborative research projects together.（Lin）
