令和7年2月6日 (木)、熊本高専にて「令和6年度熊本高等専門学校動物実験教育訓練講演会」が実施されました。昨年に引き続き池田先生、野村先生、本園先生、麦田が参加し、動物実験講義やセンター紹介、研究室紹介を行いました。
講演会では、普段目にできないような実験データや研究設備について興味をもち積極的に質問をする学生や、今回の講演会をきっかけに高専での研究のモチベーションが上がったと話す学生もいました。
高専生の皆さんにとって動物実験やウイルス研究、大学院進学への興味と理解が深まり、進路選択において視野が広がる有意義な時間であってほしいと思います。(麦田)
On February 6, the ” Animal Experiment Education and Training Lecture for FY Reiwa 6″ was held at Kumamoto National College of Technology. Dr. Ikeda, Dr. Nomura, Dr. Motozono, and a college graduate, Mugita, participated in the event. We gave lectures on animal experiments and introduced our center and laboratory.
In the lectures, some students were interested in our experiment data and equipment, which they had hardly seen in their usual school life. Others said they were really motivated to hear these lectures.
It would be great for the students to deepen their interest and understanding of animal experiments and virus research. I would also be happy if this lecture could help students to advance to graduate school. I hope this opportunity has a meaningful time for their future path. (Mugita)
